Chuck Henderson

Senior Pastor

030_web"The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places." That's the Psalmist's way of saying, "Wow, God sure has given me a great heritage!" And I couldn't agree more. I was raised by loving parents who gave their lives to the cause of Christ. My early years were overseas on the mission field in Africa and the Philippines; my High School in North Carolina; my college in Arkansas; my further education in Memphis; most of my adult ministry in Kentucky. Through this exposure to the world, God has blessed me with a strong foundation of a loving trust in God, and a vision for the world.

Closer to home, Sherri and I have been married since 1983, and have 4 children who have been the joy of our lives. I used to be a runner (bad knees!), so now I'm a jogger, and love to "piddle" around the house and garden. But the real love for the Henderson house is helping people learn about and love Jesus more. We do that through the church, to be sure, but we do it because He's our life. Whether it's in Louisville, or on one of our mission trips around the world, we just love to tell the story.
