Director of Music Ministry
Joshua grew up in Memphis, TN where he met his wife, Hannah. Having grown up with faithful influences and coming to faith as a child, Joshua began sensing God's call to ministry leadership at the age of sixteen. In college, Joshua studied music education while serving as the Instrumental Music Minister's Assistant at his home church, Bellevue Baptist. After graduation, Joshua continued his education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is currently working on his Master's in Church Music.
Joshua has a deep love for the Lord, a willingness to serve Him, and teachable spirit to learn and grow in knowledge of Him. He's a talented musician and worship leader. His humility in service is sweet to see and it's obvious that Joshua views his leadership role as a special privilege and a sacred responsibility.
Joshua has served at Cedar Creek since March 2010-January 2011 as our interim worship leader. He was called to serve permanently in January of 2011, while he was away marrying his teenage sweetheart!
