Within a 2 mile radius of our church, you can find 20,000 people, many of whom have no meaningful relationship with Christ. The needs of the less fortunate continue to grow as the economy changes. The international population of Louisville is growing by leaps and bounds. Lostness continues to abound in portions of Kentucky.
In each of these areas, Cedar Creek is focused on taking the love and message of Christ to people in need. Find your place of service with us today! Here are ways in which we are serving locally:
- Jefferson Street Ministries: Join us once a month (typically the third Thursday of each month) as we provide meals to the men of this homeless shelter.
- Fern Creek/Highview United Ministries: Cedar Creek works together with other local churches through FCHUM to meet the needs of those around us.
- International Outreach: There are 10,000 Indians living in the Metro Louisville area. Join the team that is working to build relationships with this community in order to engage them with the message of the Gospel.
- Eastern Kentucky Ministry: Cedar Creek is working with a new church plant in Hazard, KY. Watch the "Missions Opportunities" link for info on the next trip.
- Southern Baptist Convention: Cedar Creek also cooperates with the Long Run Baptist Association, the Kentucky Baptist Convention, and the North American Mission Board.
