Drue Corbitt

Elder

Drue comes from a long heritage of ministry family, both missionaries and pastors. He grew up in a missionary/pastor home and after Bible College headed straight to the mission field to do evangelism and church planting among a remote tribe in Liberia. He married Evie in 1980, and they with one kid in tow and 2 more two more to come, headed back to Liberia.  

Drue has pastored churches in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New York, as well as being Pre-field Director of Pre-Field Ministry at an international mission agency. He became certified with ACBC (formerly NANC) as a biblical counselor and has enjoyed a broad ministry in counseling and counseling training. Having retired from the pastorate, Drue and Evie moved to Louisville in 2016  to be near his daughter. The Corbetts love their 8 grand children scattered far and wide around the world.  

After retiring from many years in ministry, Drue was recently add to our elder team in June, 2025. He loves the folks at Cedar Creek and desires to use his ministry experience to enhance the church in any way he is able.
